If your email address is not recognized:
If you are both a parent and a volunteer, verify that your volunteer and parent email address are the same. While you can log in if they are different, you will not be able to toggle between your roles.

Verify that you arrived at Digital Cookie by clicking on the link in your registration email. If you did not receive a registration email, please review this tip sheet .

If you have received a Digital Cookie registration email and still receive an error message about your email address after clicking the link in your registration email and attempting to log in, contact Customer Service .

If a parent has not registered:
Volunteers cannot register Girl Scouts for Digital Cookie. Only parents can do that. Once each parent has received their registration email, they should log in for the first time and register their Girl Scout(s) by inputting her preferred first name, and if she's 13 or older, her email address.

If the parent has not received their registration email, they should fill out this form .

Settings

If you click on Settings in the top right of the header, you will be taken to your Settings page.

On the My Settings tab, you can click the Change Password button if you wish to change your password.

Missing / incorrect account information

Please contact Customer Service if your account information is missing or incorrect for any of the following:

  • Volunteer email address
  • Volunteer is also a parent but not seeing the option to log in with a parent role

You can also use the same customer service form if on your volunteer dashboard, one of the following is incorrect:

  • Girl Scout name
  • Girl Scout GSUSA ID
  • Girl Scout parent name
  • Girl Scout parent email address
  • Girl Scout date of birth
  • Girl Scout site live (Y/N)
  • Girl Scout site URL
  • Girl Scout customers emailed
  • Girl Scout # orders
  • Girl Scout # of in-person delivery orders pending parental approval

Remember that you need to register for Digital Cookie each year. You will be unable to reset a forgotten password until you have registered for the current Digital Cookie season.

Still having trouble? In the Customer Service Portal, under the Getting Started section, click on Reset a password.

Account locked

If you attempt to log in 5 times with an incorrect password, you will be locked out of your account for security reasons. If that happens, please go to the Customer Service Portal. Under the Getting Started section, click on Unlock your account. Ask the live chat customer service representative to unlock your account. If you cannot remember your password, ask them to send you a Reset Password email as well.

Girl Scout's site setup progress

Your dashboard can show you if a parent has registered her Girl Scout for Digital Cookie or not. If a Girl Scout’s name doesn’t appear on your dashboard, then the parent has not yet registered her for Digital Cookie. You may want to reach out to those parents to see if they are encountering difficulties registering.

You can also see if they have a live site. If the girl's site isn’t live yet, you can check with the family to see if they are having any issues or need a little extra help to understand the process.

Marketing emails

Some councils offer rewards to Girl Scouts who send marketing emails to a minimum number of unique customers. You can see how many customers a Girl Scout has emailed on your dashboard.

On the bottom of your dashboard, you'll be able to search for troops. Your council and service unit will be automatically chosen. If you are a service unit admin, you can choose the troop. If you are a troop leader, your troop will be automatically chosen.

You can choose to click the Search button and see the entire troop, or you can add the Girl Scout name to search for an individual Girl Scout.

The search results will provide the Girl Scout first and last name, her GSUSA ID, her parent first and last name, her parent email address, her date of birth, whether or not her site is live to consumers, the link to her consumer-facing site, and the number of customers she has emailed.

Note that this will not be the total amount of emails she has sent, but the number of unique customers she has emailed. This means that if she sends an "Open for business!" email, a "There’s still time to order cookies!" email, and a "Thanks for your support!" email to the same customer, it will only count once.

In order for a Girl Scout to successfully send a marketing email:

  • Her Digital Cookie site must be published
  • It must be within her local council's Digital Cookie sale
  • She must be a Girl Scout 13 and older, or a parent helping a Girl Scout 12 and younger
  • She must have selected at least one customer
  • At least one customer selected must have a valid email address
  • She must click the SEND MARKETING EMAIL button

In-person delivery orders

Check eBudde for any DOC in-person delivery orders that reflect payment. You will want to work with that Girl Scout and her family to make sure she orders cookies to fill those orders. If it is after initial order delivery, make sure you can get more cookies for those orders before the parent approves the order.

Troop leader dashboard

Your dashboard can show you if a parent has registered her girl for Digital Cookie or not. If a Girl Scout's name doesn't appear on your dashboard, the parent has not yet registered her for Digital Cookie. You might want to reach out to those parents to see if they are encountering difficulties registering.

You can also see if they have a live site. If the girl's site isn't live yet, you can check with the family to see if they are having any issues or need a little extra help to understand the process.

You can also see how many emails they have sent to customers. If they have sent emails, chances are they have sales! If they haven't sent email, you might need to help them brainstorm who would be good people to send those emails to.

Finally, if you are in a council that offers in-Person delivery, you can see the number of in-person delivery orders awaiting parental approval.
